We have decided to adopt Amina! We put in our request tonight to our facilitator in Kiev. He will be working hand in hand with our adoption agency in the US. We will also need to talk to Amina to find out if she would like to be adopted by us. Please pray for us as there are a lot of logistics to be worked out. We will have to travel back to Kiev for a referral for Amina. Also, we will have to figure out how to come up with the money for a second child. Getting more US cash in Ukraine is easier said than done!

Congratulations on this second child! We just received your blog from Keely Jennings in Knoxville who we go to church with. Our dossier is inline at the SDA waiting for submitting. We are planning to adopt 3 siblings but are getting pressure on the Ukrainian side to adopt 4. Have you heard anything about Mr Shick, the new SDA director who took office on Thursday?
